I posted this one and another painting together in August done outdoors for A Day and A Night in Hespeler.  Once I got them home I decided they were finished so only took better photos of each.  I'll post the other paintng tomorrow.

One of my earlier posts was of a blue plate and fruit with strong shadow shapes.  This painting has similar light and dark shapes. I had strong afternoon sun coming in the window that day.

This was painted from a photo I took when the sun was streaming through the window and the glass plate was picking up all this incredible fractured light.  Even the fruit was highlighted.  This piece was accepted into a juried show last fall.
