Rocks and Fall Colours

This painting resulted from a photo I took when I stopped on the side of the road up north to take pictures of the rocks. For some reason, I thought the photo went horizontal not verticle........I changed it part way through the painting process....I'd like to paint a similar scene and tackle the rocks in a totally different way.
