Just finished painting bleeding hearts using my photo reference (taken last year).  The plant is up about 5inches already....waiting on new spring flowers!

Another Van Gogh inspired painting - I had fresh Irises from Lilies White and set up the arrangement like Vincent's painting Still Life: Vase with Irises.  My vase was very similar and I decided to change the local colour of the table top to his delicious green.

I was standing in front of this Church (where I'm sure Vincent Van Gogh stood many times) and took photos which I knew I would use for reference for a painting.  I was very awestruck to be in the village of Auvers-sur-Oise and take in all the history it has to offer.
