Something I painted a couple years ago but recently changed a few things.  I was thinking of Matisse's red paintings when I worked on this one.

This was a tiny portion of an amazingly large still life set up by Laurie Wonfor Nolan this past weekend.  She is a master at setting up still life arrangements!

I took liberties with the red but was thinking about Henri Matisse's painting The Red Studio.  Our painting group was talking about various artists this day and he was one of them.

A still life arrangement with various items not really related but they came together in the end.  The mask with feather was something I wanted to paint for a while.
