Painted from a photo with a fair amount of editing but I wanted to capture the same feeling I had when I was small and visited this house many times.

This was a lone red and white parrot tulip poking out among other plants in last year's garden.  I enjoyed painting it last week during our very prolonged winter!

I got right inside the apple tree to take a photo for this painting.  It was one of those really old apple trees planted generations ago.
