I thought I had posted this painting shortly after I started this blog but seemed to have missed doing so.  I had the awesome opportunity to meet Kerrilynn Shellhorn yesterday at the Java Garden while taking a break from painting with a terrific group of artists.

I loved painting the candle and drips down the bottle.  This has gone to a very good home!

I nearly finished this piece outdoors at the Good Earth during a workshop this summer with the wonderful and talented Kim Rempel.  The wound up hose caught my attention but I think it turned out to be more about the yellow door which was mostly in shadow.  I took a couple pictures which helped me finish it.
